There are a few reasons that exact data for output are difficult to publish:
– first of all, speed is relative to the purpose and expected screen quality.
– depending on individual settings, you can receive an output of 4 B2 plates per hour for 150 lpi images and almost double that number if you need color newspaper quality at 100 lpi. So, increasing quality up to 190 lpi with AM rasterizing, you will have to reduce speed more than in above example.
– another very important factor is the orientation of the plate feed used (related to the maximum size of the chosen unit).
– we can say that the average speed with a mixed job structure should hover around 5-6 B2 plates per hour.
– in our often-updated technical data sheets, we are always placing exact examples of speed and ink usage. Please ask your dealer for current data.
